Festival Rundown June 13th – 15th: Bonnaroo, Biscuits, and a Punk Rock Revival
One nation, under grooves, with weather warnings and foot blisters for all.
Welcome back to the Festival Rundown, your slightly unhinged, mostly helpful guide to where we’re going, what we’re vibing with, and how many friends we’ll lose in the dust this week.
This edition features a pilgrimage to the farm, a hidden gem in New Hampshire, a Disco Biscuit-fueled time warp, and a “wait, is that still a thing?” punk revival that will absolutely end in someone stage-diving off a port-a-potty. Let’s break it down.
🌾 Bonnaroo
📍 The Farm – Manchester, TN
🕒 Gate opens Tuesday 6/10 at 12PM
Ah yes, Bonnaroo. That glorious, lawless patch of Tennessee farmland where 90,000 of us collectively decide showers are optional, shoes are flexible, and every genre of music deserves a standing ovation at sunrise. Mr. B and crew are heading back to the farm, and we’re already mentally preparing for the spiritual transformation that happens somewhere between the Arch and your third spicy pie of the weekend.
This year’s crowd is shaping up to be the most diverse yet. You’ve got ICP Juggalos, Luke Combs fans, jam heads, techno trolls, Gen Z rave fairies, and everyone in between. And somehow…we all get along. Bonnaroo does that.
- Centeroo never closes. Like, ever. If you want grilled cheese at 4:32 AM while watching someone spin fire in a Pikachu onesie, it’s happening.
- The Fountain is not just for rinsing off, it’s a rite of passage. Hit it at least once.
- The House of Yes is part dance party, part fever dream. Wander in. Stay a while. Or forever.
- You will end up at the Silent Disco at 3AM with someone named Cosmic Steve, and you will think it’s the best moment of your life. That’s Roo, baby.
- Interactive sponsor displays are not just filler—they’re half the fun. Expect full-blown art installations, immersive games, free swag, and air-conditioned lounges (yes, AC is real, and it is glorious). Pro tip: brands are trying to impress you, so swing through and grab cold drinks, giveaways, and charge your phone while pretending to be interested in whatever product they’re “activating.”
🎪 This year, you can find Mr. B’s stores in three locations:
- Near the House of Yes
- By the Disco Ball Tower
- In VIP on the walk to What Stage
Whether you need socks, sunscreen, a ridiculous bucket hat, or a complete emotional reset, we’ve got you. Remember:
If you forgot it, we brought it.
Mr. B Suggests: Never lose your friends with a Crowd Compass, because “where the heck am I?” hits different when you’re a full-blown hike away from your tent and can’t find the Silent Disco.
🍃 Northlands Music & Arts Festival
📍 Safford Park – Swanzey, NH
🕒 Early Entry Thurs 6/12, Main Entry Fri 6/13 at 10AM
Honestly? Northlands is a total gem. The right size, the right crowd, and it’s held in one of those “is this a Bob Ross painting?” kind of places. The talent is always dialed, and the logistics don’t make you want to scream into a tree (looking at you, other fests). If I weren’t contractually obligated to sweat through my socks in Tennessee, I’d be kicking it on this hill with a folding chair and a cider.
Bring warm gear. I know it’s June, but this is New Hampshire, which means the nighttime air will attack your ankles with surgical precision. Bonus points for those cozy fireside hangs that turn into acoustic jam sessions by accident.
Mr. B Suggests: A blanket, a Moonmat, a Baja hoodie, and a beverage that looks like tea but probably isn’t.
🌀 All Good Now
📍 Merriweather Post Pavilion – Columbia, MD
🕒 Box Office opens 10AM, Gates at 12PM
If you know, you know. And if you don’t, prepare for a lot of unprovoked “back in West Virginia…” stories. All Good Now is a revival of the beloved All Good Festival, and the lineup is chef’s kiss for anyone whose teenage awakening involved The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, or a light-induced panic attack during STS9.
It’s a return to an era when jam bands ruled the stage, patchwork pants were currency, and there were still festivals where the music wasn’t interrupted by someone yelling “BANGER DROPPING” into a CDJ. This one’s a love letter to the weirdos who built the scene, and it deserves your presence.
Mr. B Suggests: Sunscreen, Clutchloop, and something flowy that catches wind when you spin.
🥷 Warped Tour: D.C. Edition (30th Anniversary)
📍 Festival Grounds at RFK Campus – Washington, D.C.
🕒 Box Office 9AM–9PM, Gates at 11AM
Warped Tour is officially hitting the big 3-0, and if that doesn’t make your back hurt a little, you’re probably a Gen Z skater kid who just discovered Good Charlotte through a TikTok sound. But for the rest of us who remember Warped Tour in its Vans-sponsored, circle pit glory days, this anniversary means everything.
Here’s the real scoop: Kevin Lyman and team aren’t just slapping a logo on this thing. This is a curated throwback to the spirit of the early 2000s tour, we’re talking reunion sets, legacy bands dusting off the eyeliner, and merch booths that’ll have you screaming “I had that shirt in eighth grade!”
There’s even talk of surprise appearances and guest collabs at each stop. And in true Warped tradition, set times are posted day-of, so you better check the walls or follow the kid with the clipboard. D.C. is kicking off the three-city run, followed by Long Beach and Orlando, and if you’re only going to one…this is the one.
Mr. B Suggests: Vibes earplugs (your future self will thank you), your oldest pair of Vans, and emotional prep for seeing 41-year-olds crowd surfing like it’s still 2005.
🎪 Final Vibes: From the Farm to the Pit
This week’s rundown is chaos in the best way: Bonnaroo’s full-tilt weirdness, Northlands’ peaceful pocket of nature, All Good’s cosmic callback, and Warped Tour’s eyeliner-drenched rebirth.
We’re covering all corners of the country, and all corners of the human experience. From “accidentally cried during a sunrise set” to “forgot I still knew every word to that 2003 AFI track.”
👞 Gear up smart, fest even smarter.
Come see us at the farm, or send us pics of you losing your voice somewhere beautiful.
