Normally this event is held in person, and we collect donations from generous donors all around Central Connecticut… but this year is anything but normal, so we’re shaking things up a bit, and moving the event online to keep everyone safe during the holidays!

This is our third year in a row partnering with Community Housing Advocates Inc. They oversee Mercy Housing & Shelter and My Sisters’ Place, two nonprofits based in the Hartford area that provide food, shelter, and assistance to homeless families, and victims of domestic abuse. We believe in their mission to provide people with a “Hand Up” rather than a “Hand Out” so that they can get back on their feet, and on the right path! Please help us in supporting their efforts by purchasing and donating the essentials needed most during the winter months.

This is our first year partnering with SpreadMusicNow and we’re very excited to collaborate with them! With a solid foundation in the belief that Music Empowers®, they work nationwide to fund high-quality music education programs, both in and out of the classroom, and help to put underserved students on a path towards academic, career, and life success. We here at Mr. B’s Festival Needs believe wholeheartedly that music can unlock worlds of potential in an individual, and know how necessary it is to provide funding for the arts.
